The framing crew was able to get a lot done today! They got there early and boxed in the roof rafters and put on the roof facia on the front of the first floor. the second floor walls were finished and the stairs were well on their way to being done. There was talk about putting the trusses on the second floor but I think that will happen tomorrow. I had a good conversation with Mike Mark about the timing and he said they would be done by the end of the week and that he would be there all day each day for the rest of the week. The crews seem to work faster when the boss-man is on site. :)
The septic tank is being delivered on Thursday. The backhoe operator was on site today but didn't get started until after 2 because I wanted to be really clear where we wanted the tanks placed. So he just cleared the area and will start digging tomorrow. It was great to see so much work being done all at once. It really made up for the lack of progress I was beginning to get concerned about.
